It is not easy to give a short answer to this question. I am a multidisciplinary artist, I began my foray into art through theater and cinema, after studying painting and engraving, I hold painting and engraving exhibitions in different galleries in Spain and Europe. My artistic interests led me to study jewelry, and when I entered this sector I was fascinated by the world of gems, studying gemology, and all the courses available to me.
With all this training and experience I make the Art of several films and shorts, I develop my jewelry brand with very special pieces where I combine different techniques. The first is about telling the story of humanity through jewelry, and the second is based on using art and jewelry design to talk about mental health. I am also President of ADA, an association of Artists, Designers and Craftsmen, where we seek the interaction of different artistic disciplines. What aspects of your work do you find most comforting or most exciting? The satisfaction of making an idea become something real is indescribable . You have to fight a lot to move projects forward and when you feel the enthusiasm of those who participate, all the work is forgotten and you feel enormous happiness.
What studies did you complete to become professional in your sector? Training is essential to develop any activity . In my case I continue in constant training, it is one of my vices. Jewelry is much more complex than people might think , it requires a lot of knowledge to carry out the activity correctly. And for me, of course, you can't design jewelry without knowing gemology, I think they go hand in hand. In my case I have studied gemology , diamond grading , colored stone grading , jewelry appraisal , and without a doubt the one I have enjoyed the most: Gem cutting. Which are added to the studies of engraving and painting. What has the Spanish Gemological Institute given you? Entering the world of gems has been exciting . It has opened up enormous possibilities for me to know how to choose which gems I need to develop my creations. What are your next goals? Continue with the Project with a second edition, exhibit the pieces of the Project in . Continue creating risky collections to show on MOMAD and other platforms.
